Licence Information

Following are the pre-requisites laid down by the R.T.O. for issuing a driving license:

Candidate should be above 16 years of age to apply for personal vehicle license (below 50 cc) with parents concern. Candidate should be above 18 years of age to apply for a Light Motor Vehicle license.
For transport License Candidate should be above 20 years of age and should be at least educated up to 8th standard of school and have 1 year old Light Motor Vehicle or A/R Driving license.

Documents Required

For Age Proof - School Leaving Certificate, Birth Certificate, Passport, Life Insurance Policy. For Address Proof - Voters Card, Passport, Electric Bill etc.
Photos - Four passport size photos.
(Original and its photocopy; original will be returned to you).

(Note- Provided that where the applicant is not able to produce any of the above mentioned document for sufficient reason, the licensing authority may accept any affidavit sworn by the applicant before an Executive Magistrate, or first class. Judicial Magistrate or a Notary Public as evidence of age and address)

Final test will be conducted by the R.T.O. after completion of 30 days from the date of issue of learning license.
